Around 58% of 15-year-old students in Armenia reported<\/a> that they had skipped at least one day of school in the two weeks prior to the PISA 2025 test. On average across OECD countries, 22 out of every 100 students reported missing at least one full day of school during the same period, compared with 58 out of 100 in Armenia.<\/p>\n

The OECD data also show that 59% of students in Armenia reported skipping at least one class during those two weeks, compared with an OECD average of 24%. At the same time, 54% of students in Armenia reported arriving late for school, slightly above the OECD average of 50%.<\/p>\n

At the same time, PISA 2025 data indicate that most students in Armenia regularly discuss their school life with their parents or guardians. Some 72% reported that their parents or guardians asked them at least once a week what they had done at school. Another 59% said they had at least weekly discussions with their parents or guardians about problems they might have at school.<\/p>\n

In PISA 2025 assessment Armenia participated for the first time. PISA assesses the knowledge and skills of 15-year-old students in reading, mathematics and science.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>
