Two scientific centers will be equipped with 21 new pieces of equipment. The decision was adopted through a reallocation of the 2026 state budget.<\/p>\n<p>The issue was presented by Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, who said the funds would be directed toward equipping scientific centers with modern equipment and financing research grants. She emphasized that developing scientific infrastructure and funding research programs are among the government\u2019s strategic priorities.<\/p>\n<p>According to the minister, since 2021, tens of billions of drams have been invested in acquiring scientific equipment. As a result, modern research laboratories have been established at universities and scientific institutions. \u201cThese investments have made it possible to establish laboratories at our research institutes and universities where cutting-edge research can be conducted. Research that previously required us to turn to laboratories abroad can now be carried out in Armenia,\u201d Zhanna Andreasyan stated.<\/p>\n<p>Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized that science funding in Armenia has increased since 2018, nearly tripling.
