Money and Quality

In 2021, 159.6 billion drams were allocated to the education sector. This amount increased in the following years, reaching 181.6 billion drams in 2022 and 198.7 billion drams in 2023. In 2024, the education budget saw its highest increase, reaching 316.8 billion drams.

The “Money and Quality” section features informational and analytical articles published by the “Media for Education” NGO (www.mediaforedu.am) as part of the six-month “Education Expenditures/Critical Thinking Quality” project. This project was established with the financial support of the European Union, within the framework of a sub-grant provided under the “Budgets for Citizens” project, implemented by a consortium led by the “Armenian Lawyers’ Association” NGO. The “Media for Education” NGO is responsible for the content, which does not necessarily reflect the views of the European Union.
