On October 6, the “Media for Education” NGO presented to the Education Inspectorate of Armenia the results of its study on the essays written by 9th-grade students in Tavush, which have been used as final examinations for the second year.

“Media for Education”

The non-governmental organization was established by the joint efforts of experienced journalists and education specialists.
The organization is guided by the principle “Educated Citizen / Developed State”

Goals of MFE organization

Distribute public materials about the history of Armenian pedagogy.

Propagate information on successful international experience in the development of education.

Support in organization of activities to develop the creative freedom of educational specialists and teachers.

Contribute to the establishment of parenting institute, provide professional counseling about it.

Enforce required procedures to ensure the need of special conditions in the field of education.

Organize research and public information campaigns to present the relationship between the quality of education and public health.

Increase the level of citizens’ knowledge about the right to education.

Raise awareness of the importance of lifelong learning, create appropriate opportunities, organize formal, non-formal and informal educational programs and initiatives.

Assist in the elimination of legal and legislative obstacles to improve the quality of education.

Conduct research on educational problems and take measures to solve them.

Highlight educational issues and organize public discussions.

Initiate and implement educational programs in the field of media literacy.
